Add superglue to Slack
Install the superglue app for Slack to let the agent read and send messages, share files, and deliver run notifications in your workspace. The install starts from your superglue account.
Install the app
- Sign up or log in at app.superglue.cloud.
- Open the Connections page and add Slack, or tell the agent "Connect Slack" in chat.
- Click Connect, review the permissions Slack shows, and approve them to install the app in your workspace.
- If your workspace restricts app installations, ask a Slack workspace admin to approve the request first.
- Invite the bot to each channel it should work in: type /invite @superglue in the channel.
How superglue works in Slack
- Messages you trigger. superglue posts to Slack when you ask the agent to — for example, "post this summary to #sales". The agent shows you the message and destination for approval before it sends anything.
- Automated notifications. Saved tools and schedules can post run failure alerts and daily or weekly summaries. Admins pick the channel and rules under Settings → Notifications.
- Channel access. The bot reads and posts only in channels it has been invited to. It does not join channels or message people on its own.
- No in-Slack commands. superglue does not respond to mentions, messages, or slash commands inside Slack. You control it from the superglue app.
