A monday.com implementation rarely starts from clean data. The team receives Excel exports that have to be split across several linked boards and connected by a shared identifier, so a plain import does not produce a working setup. Till Freitag handles this with monday.com's own automations, which wire the boards together once triggered. Those automations only go so far, so the more involved cases need custom code.
Each of these works, and each takes time. On a large migration, that time added up, which set a ceiling on how many of these implementations the team could fit into a working day.
